Do the languages chosen on the call screen do anything?
The languages chosen on the call screen at the top (automatically filled to match the languages which you chose when you signed up) do not change the way your calls work. They are only used as a guide for interpreters so that they can easily identify which call was made to which language.
Can I make calls to mobile phones?
The standard corporate package includes unlimited calls to landlines, but excludes calls to mobiles and special numbers.
If you require mobile calls as part of your corporate package, we can accommodate this along with any other special requirements you may have.
If you are on a pay per use plan, then mobile numbers can be enabled, but are charged at a higher costs per minute than land line numbers

DOES ANYTHING HAPPEN IF I AM ON A LONG CALL?
There are no limits to how long a call can be. However every 3 hours we require the interpreter to confirm they are still active on the call by dismissing a prompt on the iPad.
This is designed to prevent a call from being left active accidentally.

WHY DOES MY AUDIO KEEP CLIPPING?
iipher will experience audio problems if your connection does not have at least 2mbps upload and download. Please check your speeds with a speed tester (such as www.speedtest.net).
Another potential cause of problems can be the WiFi network at your location. If the WiFi signal is poor or other networks in your area are using the same channel then iipher will occasionally experience audio issues.
If you are experiencing issues with audio clipping please email us at [email protected] so that we can investigate.

Our VOIP network will find the best possible route through the internet for your call. However the final leg of the call will always be from the internet out onto the PSTN (public phone network). If the call is dropped by the PSTN there is nothing we can do.
If you are experiencing any issues with call drop outs please email us at [email protected] so that we can investigate.
